About Me

My least favorite icebreaker question is "where are you from," because the answer is nebulous at this point; I grew up in Northern California but I lived in the South for just over 6 years. Four of those years were pursuing my BS in Public Policy at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I lived in the Washington, D.C. area for two years before making a pandemic relocation to the other Washington; I'm now based in Bellingham, WA.
I've worked hard to make a name for myself in journalism, public radio and podcasting. I've won a Georgia College Press Association award for investigative reporting, been profiled by the Poynter Institute, filed a national newscast with NPR, and produced hundreds of hours of podcasts and radio (multiple episodes of which have trended on Apple's charts).

My work has been featured in Vulture, PopSugar, Metro UK, Inside Podcasting, and Oxygen.

In March of 2020, I ran a podcast editing workshop at the Altitude Summit for creatives, entrepreneurs and influencers.

I'm currently available to produce, edit, and consult on audio projects.
